Tehran is prepared to resume nuclear talks with Washington provided that it is treated with "dignity" and "respect", Iran's top diplomat has announced.

Abbas Araghchi declared exclusively dialogue was effective, and revealed recent overtures had been made by intermediaries to resume negotiations with the Trump administration. He asserted Iran possessed no secret atomic facilities, and Iran could not yet allow the International Atomic Energy Agency to access attacked atomic facilities for security reasons.

Walking a Complex Course

Araghchi is treading a complex route since Iran wishes not to appear to be operating from a position of vulnerability, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had come out more powerful militarily and psychologically from the coordinated strike on its nuclear sites in June.
